Ok! I’m totally insane!! I’m beginning this journal so I can completely embrace my A-ddiction!!! Hahaha… Yes, I’m addicted to JPOP and KPOP, most especially to Arashi! And I am devoting this journal so I can freely express my thoughts and feelings for this Boyband!

 

Gosh, I have never been “gaga” with a boyband since Backstreet Boys, but here I am now, I’m loosing my mind for these 5 fantastic Idols.

Some Random Thoughts and Arashi Debut CD Anniversary

I haven’t posted much in Typepad since vox closed down… Yeah, I’m not really good with changes… LOL! Before, I had LJ and Vox… I felt LJ was too complicated that I chose VOX over it. But after Vox’s closure… I tried hard to learn more about LJ. And I am actually enjoying it… Met new Arashi fan-friends and I feel like I am stepping up a notch higher as a fan-girl as I am engrossed (totally engrossed) on reading fan fics! LOL!!! Well, I used to read fanfics before, but in Vox, I only knew some fanfic writers…  So there, because of this different “addiction”, I neglected my promise to give Typepad a chance… I’m still not comfortable with it… But then again, I’ll try… =D

Anyway, yesterday, I forgot to post my greetings to Arashi as they embark on their 11^th year anniversary since their CD debut… Wow… 11 years… they surely had gone a long way! And I’m so happy that I got to know them (even just in the internet).

To Elaine and Mommy G… Thank you for introducing Hana Yori Dango… If not for you guys, I wouldn’t have met Jun… and Ohno-kun… and Nino… and Aiba… and especially my Sho-chan!!!!

To all my fellow Arashi fan-girls… thank you...

To Arashi, Omedetou!!! Thank you for adding "color" into my already colorful life! Happy Anniversary!

 

"Knight and Day" on Vs Arashi???!!!!

I'm back!!! After a long vacation, I'm here finally for some fangirling mode (^_^) I missed a lot of updates... Haven't seen Arashi's new PV - Dear Snow!!! I can't wait to watch it... but unfortunately, I can'r yet.... Sigh... why do I have to go back to work, really???!!! hehehe...

 

Anyway, I was browsing Tokyohive.com and I just found out that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz visited Vs Arashi to promote their movie "Knight and Day"!!! (some side comments: I've watched this movie and I didn't find it interesting... though I find some scenes with Cameron Diaz funny, but it just didn't clicked to me... well, just my opionion...)

 

Anyway, going back... Hollywood stars guesting on Arashi shows... woah! This is great news! That only means that Arashi shows are really popular, right?!

Planning our Iloilo - Guimaras Trip

Ever since we bought the ticket, I have been anticipating our trip to Iloilo City. Our date was already set to October 1st up to the 3rd. I have already filed my VL and have been constantly looking forward to that day.

 

As early as July, my friends and I were already planning about it... where to stay... the places to visit... foods to eat... things to shop... and etc... And for months, I have been saving money for this trip. We already have an itinerary and when I thought that finally, everything is set.. the last minute, plans have changed. So even at work, I spent my ENTIRE shift, looking online for good resorts in Guimaras. I called Beulah and Joyce (thanks for Globe's unli call... I was able to make a three way conference call... hahaha) to set our trip.

 

Finally, we all decided to stay at the Tequero Adventure Resort. Though it seems promising, and the pictures seems really nice... I am still wishing that we made the right choice. I don't want anything to go wrong. (^_^)

 

4 days to go... I am really excited. I am pretty sure that the trip itself will be thrice as fun as planning it.

On September 14th, one of the premier music programs in Japan, The Music Hour (formally known as ‘Utaban‘) ended its 14-year history.  The final episode was three hours long, and it showed the summary of its 14 year-run, including battles between one of the MC, Nakai Masahiro, and featured guests (particularly the famous battle with Ohno Satoshi of Arashi).

Many artists who have made appearances on the program submitted message videos; other musicians, such as Every Little Thing, SPEED, and the original Morning Musume showed up to say farewell to the show.

Sigh... I wonder why they decided to end this program? Waahhh... No more Arashi guestings... No more Nakai vs Ohno fights... Sigh, I will definitely miss Utaban!

Arashi Files Lost!!!!

I'm freaking out! What should I do???? I lost the entire folder dedicated to Arashi...

Did I deleted it? I don't think so... It's not in the recycle bin... And somehow, the USED and FREE spaces of my external HD is still the same... So I am pretty sure, it is still there somewhere!!!

But how can I retrieve it??? I seriously DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA! I'm not tech savvy!!! Is there someone that could help???

Another Tearjerker Japanese Drama

I just watched Sho's docu-drama "Kobe Shimbun No Nanokakan" last night. I've been wanting to DL that drama for a long time but I guess, I had other "priorities"... hehehe...

 

But then, last night, since it will be a long rest day for me, and my internet connection is really being cooperative this time, finally... I was able to download this drama.

 

I have been warned that this will definitely make me cry... so I waited for everyone in the house to sleep, went downstairs to set up the laptop (I don't want to watch it in my room as I might wake up my sister)... and watched it alone in the living room. And boy... I sure did cried!

 

The ending is neither "happy" nor "sad"... but it gave everyone hope... that amidst any tragedy, we can still see smile on everyone's faces as they continue to live.

 

Nice drama... Im so proud of Sho... (^_^).

Testing TypePad

Ok.. this will be my first post using TypePad. I am still confuse and I am still trying to figure out how this works, and seriously... Im having a hard time...

When I first imported my Vox's posts, I don't know what I did but my entries were posted twice... so I have to delete those duplicate entries... then it took me awhile to figure out how to follow people... hehehe

Also, when I tried commenting on some of other user's entry, it required me to sign in (even if I'm already signed in) which I think is quite tedious... (or am I doing something wrong???)

Sigh... I really miss vox...

Vox Closure...

This is so unexpected... so Vox is closing... It made me sad... I do have an LJ account but I rarely use it for posting... well... because I find LJ confusing... Yeah, I'm not really tech savvy so I'm having a hard time using LJ. But I guess, I don't have any option.

 

I really love Vox.., It's just too sad that it will be closing soon.
